Default Farming AFTER UPDATE? YESSS!!! First published build!

Arenanet made AoE effects unussable you can no more use skills like zealots fire, AoE, Soj (shield). I saw petitions on the net to undo it:P
But why?
It s only a mattre of time till we all find our build to go there.
No monster changed.. only AI.
It s more difficult BUT DROP RATE IS UNUSSUALLY HIGH!!!!
(8 ectos 2,5 hour)

Maybe you find better way, but briefly i had 2 ideas.
1) dual signet monks (both 55)
- works pretty well, but needs pro sync and proper use of ventrillo, i made it far in UW with that... will explaine later.
- very safe build
2) easier, but more fragile

consists from 55 SS/SV with classic SS/SV skills that all of you necros know... (but i dont :P) and monk.
Necro is clear i think...
- 55 rune set + grim cesta
- maxed on energy armor
So i ll focus on Monk...

ARMOUR
- all energy set... highly recomended.. energy management is difficult here
- runes: 4x sup... healing, protection, devine, vigour

WEAPONS
set1:
Totem Axe + 5energy +20%ench
Protective icon 20/20 +12energy
set2:
Holy rod +5energy
Protective icon 20/20 +12energy

BARS
305 health
53 energy
skills:
Healing breeze
Protective Spirit
Guardian
Spellbreaker (elite)
Blessed Signet
Blessed Aura /or Baltazars spirit/
Mending
Essence bond

ATTRIBUTE POINTS (with runes implied)
Healing prayers 13
Protective pravyers 14
Devine prayers 14
(rest 1)

USE OF THE BUILD (I named this build "ROSE revange")
Ok, an attack of any kind will now aggro part of NPCs,
So to avoid that, no attack spells will be in use.
Let 55SS/SV tank and cast spells... Due to that, he will be only one to agro, if you make 0 damage. Make sure he has all the time Protective spirit on him and healing breeze. IF you brink baltazars spirit, make sure he gets it. THIS SPIRIT wont give you any energy, but will give the energy to SS/SV, so he can cast all the time. But mostly. they can manage their energy themselfs. Make sure SS/SV gets Spellbreaker before exploreing new parts of UW. Guardian cost only 5 energy, but heals 41 (DF bonus) so that s cool and gives 8sec bonus 50% block (It s the replacement of Bonettis deffence)

Your energy will be only maintained by essence bond, that you cast on SS/SV. You will receive 1 energy whenever he gets hit. Also use blessed signet as often as you can!!! Sometimes its tough to get your energy viable, so ask your partner to call Protective spirit always when it s gonna end... you ll safe a lot of energy by not recasting that.

Possible problems are interupts on SS/SV, but if you are good monk you should hold him ok. Btw Guardian reduce them

WHAT WONT WORK
That monk will try to cast SV or AV... it s AoE spell and will drag attention on you.
Use AoE to energy management... same problem.
To Use Baltazars spirit and life bond to stabilize game.
- how it should work?
cast balz spirit on SS/SV, cast balz spirit on you, cast life bond on SS/SV.
you will allow to agro a lot more folks, cause necro can receive only 5 damage and 3 blocks LB. You get 0 damage tranfered, but through you get +1 energy... so both you and your friend gain +1 energy and he is more protected.
- that why it doesn t work!
SS/SV should receive only 5 damage from fex. 200dmg cause of prot spirit and then half should be redirected to you... so you get about 3 damage max, but it doesnt mattre how you cast the spells, LB allways applies first, so you get 100 damage and that is reduced to 5 by prot spirit...

many others things do not work... you ll work it out.
!!ATTENTION!!
monsters are now extremly sensitive on agro. Monk has to be very cereful, he doesn t have res:P and any bad movement ends with death.
But it works:P

I am sure you can make this build better.. it s just a first way how to dual farm UW after update.

How is this supposed to work? If its the "classic" ss/sv build it wont work because when the necro casts SS the monsters will scatter.

hehe.. there is no problem of scattering monsters. The problem was in AI. NPCs now get to know who does the damage and they focuse on him. So Monk just protects.

The problem of scattering is with Monk AoE spells. Atm this AI is not applied on SS Spels.

OK guys this doesn t work any more...
Todays AI update 28.10 made creatures attack one target maxx from 3 NPCs. If you aggro more then 3 NPCs, monsters will now spread out.

So if you can hold it on 3, which is impossible.. you can dual it... but still you can farm alone as 55SS... but slower
